Mystic “Paradise Island” ... Ilha Santa Carolina or also known as "Paradise Island" became famous in the sixties, when people like Bob Dylan and Elton John visited the island. The island had a hotel, built in Portuguese style architecture. Bob Dylan wrote a song about the island and Mozambique and its said he did that in the entertainment area of the hotel, on the first floor with the most stunning view over the ocean. Nowadays its a ruin, as a result of being abandoned and hit by cyclones.
